Davie Street will receive Portraits of Resistance and Resilience Quilt Exhibition, Honoring African-American Women with Wake County Roots”, during the week of August 26th. We will have an opening on September 14th from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. The quilts will be with us about 6 weeks.
The quilts make an excellent reference and backdrop for the upcoming PW Bible Study – Let Justice Roll Down: God’s Call to Care for Neighbors and All Creation. The Davie Street Presbyterian Women Gathering will also be held the day of the opening.
