CALLED TO RECONCILIATION
The Rev. Dr. Jay Augustine, scholar, pastor, and nationally recognized speaker will sign copies of his newly released book, Called to Reconciliation: How the. Church Can Model Justice, Diversity, and Inclusion , on Sunday, March 5, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. at Davie Street Presbyterian Church. The church is located at 300 East Davie Street, Raleigh, North Carolina.
Rev. Dr. Augustine received his J.D. from Tulane University and his D.Min from Duke University. A reconciliation scholar, Rev. Dr. Augustine serves as senior pastor, St. Joseph AME Church in Durham, national chaplain for Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity.
He also serves as a missional strategist with the Duke Center for Reconciliation and as professor at North Carolina Central University School of Law.
Rev. Dr. Augustine received a Lifetime Achievement Award from President Barack Obama, the National Bar Association’s 40 Lawyers under 40 and Ebony Magazines
30 Leaders of the Future recognition.
Rev. Dr. Augustine will read sections from the book and open the program for questions and discussion.
